Ian Koh

Ian KOH is a Senior Consultant in the Shipping & International Trade Practice. He has the distinction of being a door tenant at Quadrant Chambers, a prestigious set of barristers' chambers in London, which specialises in commercial and shipping law.

His areas of specialisation include shipping and international trade law. He has been involved in major disputes concerning sale of goods, commodities, oil and trade finance. His clients include trading houses, commodity traders, ship owners, charterers, marine underwriters, P&I Clubs, port, terminal operators, banks as well as companies in the offshore oil and gas sectors.

Ian also has an active commercial practice, which frequently involves international litigation and arbitration and has handled a significant number of high-profile and complex cases concerning cross-border and commercial issues.

He is an arbitrator and has been appointed in International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) administered arbitrations and is also a panel arbitrator of the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC). Ian is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and Singapore Institute of Arbitrators. He has handled arbitrations under the ICC, LCIA, SIAC, CIETAC and other Rules.
