Jeremy Lack

Jeremy Lack is a partner with Etude ALTENBURGER in Geneva, Switzerland. He qualified as an English barrister in 1989 and as a US attorney-at-law in 1990 (New York State, various federal courts, and the US Patent and Trademark Office).

He is also a door tenant with QUADRANT CHAMBERS in London, counsel to PEARL COHEN ZEDEK LATZER LLP in New York, and is an adjunct professor with the UNIVERSITY OF NEUCHÂTEL in Switzerland. Jeremy specializes in intellectual property, new technologies, life sciences, venture capital, and private equity, and has a broad dispute prevention and resolution practice (including advocacy, arbitration and mediation). He is involved in civil law as well as common law proceedings and works with a wide range of international clients, particularly on cross-border disputes. He worked as in-house counsel for BECTON DICKINSON & CO, MEDABIOTECH and NOVIMMUNE and served on the boards of several start-up companies.

Jeremy has been accredited by several mediation institutions in Europe and the USA (including IMI, WIPO, INTA, SCCM, CMAP, CEDR, IPOS). He also serves on several ADR committees, including the Independent Standards Committee of IMI, as Co-Chair of the ABA Dispute Resolution Section's International Committee, CPR's European Advisory Boars, CIArb's Mediation Practices and Standards Subcommittee, SCCM's Regional Committee for Western Switzerland, the Geneva Chamber of Commerce's Advisory Council and the Board of Directors of GNII. He has Swiss, British, Israeli and US citizenship, and lives with his wife and two daughters in Geneva.
