Peter Blair’s role as Chief Operating Officer is to ensure that chambers works as efficiently and effectively as possible and to continue to build chambers’ reputation for excellence throughout its service.

Peter joined chambers in 2016 having worked for the previous seven years as an independent consultant, specialising in providing strategic and operational support to barristers' chambers, law firms and other professional services organisations. Before that Peter was the first Chief Operating Officer at Field Fisher Waterhouse LLP (now Fieldfisher LLP). From 2000 to 2008, he was the Deputy Under Treasurer (Deputy Chief Executive) and Director of Finance of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple. He has an MBA from London Business School.

Peter is a former Trustee of two national charities. In his spare time, he plays bass with a London based band. In 2022 Peter was shortlisted for CEO of the Year at the Legal 500 Awards.
