Gary Ventura began his career in 1983 as a Junior Clerk in a Chancery/Commercial set in Lincoln's Inn, where he assisted in two mergers and participated in the substantial growth of the chambers, reaching the position of Assistant Senior Clerk in 1991.
Gary joined Quadrant Chambers in 2000 as a team leader following the introduction of a team structure within the set. When the chambers moved to Quadrant House in 2004, he was appointed Head of Clerking, and became Senior Clerk in 2007.
Gary, along with Simon Slattery, leads our clerking and administrative teams working closely alongside the Chambers COO, Peter Blair.
Gary has the overall responsibility for the strategic management and the development of members’ practices. This includes the implementation of Chambers strategic business plan. Gary is responsible for the promotion, marketing and the administration of Quadrant Chambers, ensuring that both barristers and staff provide a first rate service.
Gary is recognised by clients for his responsiveness and adaptability in matching their expectations and requirements.
Building and maintaining existing and new client relationships is fundamental to the smooth running of Quadrant Chambers domestic and international practice. Gary is responsible for all aspects of Chambers work in particular Europe and the Middle East as well as the Hong Kong and Singapore markets. Gary regularly visits the cities throughout the UK.
Under Gary’s leadership Chambers has received a number of awards and the clerking services have been recognised by the two principal legal directories.
Gary is a supporting member of the LMAA.
Gary is a qualified member of the Institute of Barristers Clerks.
