Bruce Harris has practised as a full-time commercial arbitrator since 1980 (having started part-time in 1975) dealing with all kinds of commercial and trading disputes, particularly maritime matters, predominantly in London arbitrations but also elsewhere, both as a tribunal member and as sole arbitrator (including umpire). To date he has been involved in over 10,000 references and signatory to well over 2,000 awards.

Bruce is an Honorary Bencher of the Middle Temple and was President of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association from 2020-21, having held that post in 1991-93.
