Quadrant Chambers will be holding a virtual speed moot for law students and society members on Wednesday 11th January 2023. The event is open to any students who are thinking of applying for pupillage in Feb 2023 for the 2024 pupillage round. 

The competition will be individual, with each participant preparing both sides of a short moot problem based on contract law, and 7 minutes allowed per participant per round with a total of 6 rounds for the most successful mooters. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis, up to a maximum of 64 + 8 reserves. Applications open from 10am on Monday 7th November. To increase access, there is a limit on the number of accepted applications taken from each institution.

The moot problem and full instructions will be provided by 4.30pm on Monday 9th January 2023. We anticipate preparation of about half a day will be needed but with no additional research being necessary. The moots will all be judged by Members of Quadrant and mooters will be given feedback on their performance.
