Ben has a growing practice as an arbitrator in shipping, commodities and insurance disputes, complementing his practice as a leading junior in those fields.

He has a commercial background, having worked for many years in an international trading business alongside his practice at the bar. He offers a knowledgeable and fair approach, combined with the diligence and fast turn-around times expected of junior counsel.

Ben has received 70+ appointments since 2021 and has acted as arbitrator or counsel in proceedings under the rules of a number of different international organisations including the LMAA, the LCIA, the ICC, the PCA and the SIAC. He is a supporting member of the LMAA, and a member of the Baltic Exchange.
