Daniel Westerman began his clerking career in 2002 as a Junior Clerk at Quadrant Chambers (formerly 4 Essex Court), moving to Essex Court Chambers in 2006 as an Assistant Team Leader before joining New Square Chambers in 2008 as the Senior Team Leader’s Assistant. After gaining valuable experience, Daniel returned to Quadrant Chambers in January 2013 as a Practice Manager. In 2020, Daniel was promoted to Senior Practice Manager. He became Deputy Senior Clerk in 2023.
Daniel’s role encompasses all aspects of the day-to-day practice management of Members of Chambers including work allocation, diary management, fee negotiation, domestic and international business development.
