Quadrant Chambers together with HFW hosted a mock arbitration at the Swissôtel Métropole, 34 Quai General Guisan, Geneva.

This year's moot topic followed a trade finance theme. The mock arbitration (presented by barristers from Quadrant Chambers) involved a claim and defence raising the following issues:

1. Letters of Credit: Compliance with the requirements of the contract of sale.
2. Force majeure.
3. Damages.

Each of these issues was argued for Claimant and Respondent with an oral award at the end given by an experienced tribunal.
