Quadrant Chambers presented its Aviation Litigation Workshop. It will provided an update on changes in the rules for witness statements, the rules for jurisdiction following Brexit, recent new law on privilege and the Disclosure Pilot.

• John Kimbell KC – sat on the Witness Evidence Working Group which recommended the important changes to the rules governing the preparation of witness statements which will come into effect in April 2021.  John gives an overview of the rules and his assessment as to how they will work in practice.
• Mark Stiggelbout – The Disclosure Pilot, operating in the Business and Property Court, is now under review.  Mark will gave an update on how the pilot is now operating and what changes might be expected.
• Tim Marland – gave an overview of the jurisdiction rules as they now stand following Brexit.
• Simon Oakes – reports on recent authorities on Privilege, including the recent Jet2 case.
