Jeremy Richmond KC and Benjamin Joseph (instructed by Alessandro Tricoli and Damayanti Sen of Fichte & Co) successfully obtain a substantial order for security for costs against a large publicly listed Dubai company, with an associated ‘unless order’ sanction in the Abu Dhabi General Markets Court. 
 
In only the second published Judgment regarding security for costs in the ADGM, Justice Sir Andrew Smith provided useful guidance on the Court’s security for costs jurisdiction that is likely to be important both within the ADGM and more widely.
