Quadrant Chambers will be holding a virtual speed moot for law students and society members. The event is open to any students who are thinking of applying for pupillage during the 2021 pupillage round. First prize is £150 Amazon voucher. Second prize is £75 Amazon voucher. 

The competition will be individual, with each participant preparing both sides of a short moot problem based on contract law, and 7 minutes allowed per participant per round with a total of 6 rounds for the most successful mooters. Applications will be accepted on a first come, first served basis, up to a maximum of 64 + 8 reserves. The deadline for entries is 4.30pm, 21 October 2020. Entries are first come first served with a limit on the number of entries per institution. 

The moot problem and full instructions will be provided by 4.30pm on Monday 26 October 2020. We anticipate preparation of about half a day will be needed but with no additional research being necessary. The moots will all be judged by Members of Quadrant and mooters will be given feedback on their performance.

The evening will also feature workshops and talks covering pupillage, life at Quadrant and the commercial bar, and other relevant topics.
