Quadrant Chambers will be holding a virtual speed moot for law students and society members on Monday 4th November 2024. The event is open to any students who are thinking of applying for pupillage in Feb 2025 for the 2026 pupillage round.

The competition will be individual, with each participant preparing both sides of a short moot problem based on contract law. 7 minutes will be allowed per participant per round, with a total of 6 rounds for the most successful mooters. 

Participants will be selected either on the quality of their applications or on a first come, first served basis, depending on the total number of applications received. As stated above, there are 64 spaces available. Applications open from 10:30am on Monday 21st October. To increase access, there is a limit on the number of accepted applications taken from each institution.

The moot problem and full instructions will be provided by 4.30pm on Friday 1st November 2024. We anticipate preparation of about half a day will be needed but with no additional research being necessary. The moots will all be judged by Members of Quadrant and mooters will be given feedback on their performance.
