Andrew Stevens is a leading barrister and advocate with extensive experience in high-value commercial litigation and international arbitration across the world’s major dispute resolution centres, most notably the Asia-Pacific region and the Middle East. Andrew is a UK delegate to the ICC Commission on Arbitration and ADR, a member of the Bar Council’s International Committee (where he chairs the Asia-Pacific Sub-Group) and a long-standing member of the London Circuit Commercial Court Users Committee. He is looking forward to the forthcoming publication by Wiley of the 6th edition of Harris et al’s ‘The Arbitration Act 1996 – A Commentary’ in which he authored a chapter on anti-suit injunctions and updated several other sections including on Commercial Court procedure.
As well as being called to the Bar in England & Wales, Andrew has DIFC and AIFC rights of audience and is currently acting as counsel in the ADGM.
