Lindsay Boswell has almost 30 years of experience in a wide range of civil and commercial cases including professional negligence, commercial fraud, public procurement and construction and technology cases, and she has also acted in a number of cases involving art and artefacts.
She has acted for both Claimants and Defendants in professional negligence disputes including those involving solicitors and barristers, engineers, surveyors and architects, design engineers, auditors and accountants.
Her practice has included a variety of engineering and technical cases including those in energy, waste management and defence (in litigation and in arbitration); she has considerable experience of both the legal and technical issues that arise in such disputes. She has particular expertise in disputes involving the construction and operation of platforms and onshore/offshore oil and gas facilities, and she has worked closely with experts from a range of disciplines: surveying, process engineering, mechanical, electrical, chemical and structural engineering, project management, trenching, geotechnical and geophysical, field management, and quantity surveying and forensic accounting.
